Where we work in manufacturing
We’ve worked with manufacturers at both ends of the spectrum — century-old family-owned firms and start-ups commercializing new materials. Most sell components other engineers design into their own products, which makes the audience narrow, technical and worth getting right.
| Practice area | What that covers |
|---|---|
| Medical device manufacturing | Class II and Class III device manufacturing, implantable materials, biomedical textiles, orthopedic and cardiovascular components |
| Medical & sterile packaging | Thermoformed packaging, outsourced packaging for device OEMs, sterile barrier systems |
| Contract manufacturing | Precision contract coating and development, engineered components and assemblies, CDMO and outsourced production |
| Advanced materials | Engineered and advanced materials, coatings, composites, biomaterials |
| OEM manufacturing | OEM components, optoelectronics and advanced electronic systems, sensors and instrumentation |
| Robotics & automation | Industrial robotics, automation systems, production technology |
What we do
Manufacturing marketing has a particular problem: the buyer is an engineer, the cycle is long, and the differentiator is usually a technical capability that’s genuinely hard to explain. Generic marketing bounces off it. We start with the engineering and work outward.
That means trade and technical press in your specific segment rather than general business coverage. Technical content engineers will actually read — application notes, capability stories, white papers, case studies. Thought leadership through bylines, conference abstracts, speaking and awards. Positioning that turns a manufacturing capability into a reason to specify you. Search and AI visibility, so you surface when a specifier searches or asks an AI assistant who can do the work. And design, branding, web development and trade-show support.
It’s one integrated program, not six retainers. That’s the point.

Questions we get asked
Why hire a PR agency for a component manufacturer?
Because specification decisions are made on credibility long before a quote is requested. Engineers and procurement teams research suppliers, read trade press, and increasingly ask AI assistants which manufacturers handle a given capability. If your capability isn’t documented anywhere they look, you don’t make the list.
Do you understand regulated manufacturing?
Yes. A significant share of our manufacturing experience is medical device and life sciences supply chain — implantable materials, biomedical textiles, sterile packaging and contract coating — where claims have regulatory consequences and copy has to survive quality review.
We sell to a few dozen companies. Is PR still worth it?
Often more so. When the addressable market is small and technical, the goal isn’t reach — it’s being the name that comes up when a specifier asks a peer, a trade publication or an AI assistant who can do the work.
How does AI visibility apply to manufacturing?
The same way it applies anywhere, with a narrower query set. Buyers ask AI assistants for manufacturers with specific capabilities, materials or certifications. We work to make sure those capabilities are documented in extractable, credible form — through generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) alongside earned media and content.
