Where we work in technology
Complex technology is hard to explain and easy to get wrong. We’ve spent decades translating infrastructure, platforms and now AI into language buyers, reporters and analysts actually use.
| Practice area | What that covers |
|---|---|
| Artificial intelligence | AI platforms and applications, applied AI, AI infrastructure, and AI for regulated and technical industries |
| Enterprise software & SaaS | B2B SaaS, enterprise applications, developer and platform tooling |
| Data & analytics | Big data platforms, data management and integration, business intelligence and analytics |
| Cloud & IT infrastructure | Cloud platforms, software-defined storage, virtualization, networking and managed services |
| Cybersecurity | Security platforms, managed security services, identity and authentication, compliance |
| Emerging B2B technology | Wireless and telecom infrastructure, video and media technology, government and public-sector technology |
What we do
Technology buying runs on third-party proof. Analysts get quoted back to you in procurement, reporters shape the shortlist, and increasingly an AI assistant summarizes your category before a human ever reaches your site. We work all three at once.
That means earned media with reporters who already cover your stack, and analyst relations — briefings and inquiry with the firms your buyers cite. Thought leadership for technical executives who have something to say: bylines, contributed content, speaking, podcasts. Positioning and category narrative that hold up against a competitor’s deck. Search and AI visibility, so you appear when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity who does what you do. And design, branding and web development to match.
It’s one integrated program, not six retainers. That’s the point.

Questions we get asked
What kind of agency does a technical B2B company need?
One that can hold a technical conversation without a translator. If your buyers are CIOs, CISOs, data leaders or engineering executives, the agency needs to understand the architecture well enough to find the story in it — and to brief analysts without being coached line by line.
Do you do analyst relations as well as PR?
Yes, and for enterprise technology it often matters more than press. Analyst firms get cited back to vendors during procurement, so briefings and inquiry are part of the same program rather than a separate line item.
How do you help with visibility in ChatGPT and other AI assistants?
We treat AI visibility as one discipline inside an integrated program, not a standalone product. Generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) work alongside earned media, analyst relations, content and search — because the companies AI systems cite are largely the companies credible third-party sources already discuss.
Will we work with senior people?
Yes. SVM is a senior-led team, and the people who pitch your account are the people who run it.
Where is SVM located?
